UTAH: Antelope Island

Last weekend Aaron had an appointment in Salt Lake and afterward we drove up to Antelope Island. It is about a 45 minute drive from Salt Lake. It was a sunny day but still pretty cold. So we were in sweatshirts and it was perfect. The view is really stunning!

We road almost 18 miles. Starting at the front gate entrance and going down the causeway onto the island and went up to the visitors center. We saw the buffaloes from far away but we didn't feel like making the journey over to them. We have driven onto the island and seen them before so we do recommend that! The best part is, the road is flat basically the whole way. So even a rookie like me did just fine.
