UTAH: Bears Ears National Monument
Our last stop on the journey was Bears Ears! It is soooooo huge it was a little overwhelming to know even what to do here. The drive from Goosenecks to Natural bridges goes right through it and by Valley of the Gods which we got to see from above which was awesome. The drive is really pretty and one of our favorite parts of the trip!
*Clearly our picture taking was lacking so this is what I got to document this leg of the trip haha.
We stopped at the Ranger Station at Cedar Mesa and learned a bit more about the area. It is amazing how many ruins there are around there. Most of the hiking is pretty long so we just opted for some short hikes to see some ruins. It was really fun and beautiful! Maybe one day we will come back for one of the longer trails!
Afterward, we went to our favorite mexican place in Moab, which was the best way ever to end the trip. Since we probably won't be back before we leave, it was a little sad to think we won’t be doing that drive to Moab for a very long time.
That wraps up our Havasupai road trip, it was seriously the best trip ever! We had so much fun! We are so lucky to live so close to such amazing things! This world is a beautiful place.
