February 2020
February was BUSY!
We started off the month by going to DC for the day. We went to two museums we hadn't been to and got some Korean Kimchi fries.
We found a new trail to explore by our house. It is right over the river which is fun!
I had the PA Solar Congress so I was in PA for three days running the event. It went super well!
While I was there, my grandma passed away. I headed to Utah a few days after getting back from PA to go to the funeral and spend time with family. Aaron had to stay home for school. He has had to hold down the fort while I have been traveling a lot of the month.
I was lucky to get to spend a few extra days in Utah to be with my sisters/family. 17 of our 18 cousins made it out to the funeral which was amazing. All of my siblings and mom got to stay with Shellyne and Jed so we had fun partying at their farm and collecting eggs with Everett everyday.
We even got to celebrate Sloan girl's 1 year birthday!
While back at home, we had a meeting for a board we are on. Backstory we have a really crappy couch that we got for 20 bucks that was fake leather that was constantly flaking everywhere. On our way to the meeting we saw our exact couch on the side of the road being thrown away but in better condition than ours. So we went and put it on top of our car and took it home haha. Aaron was very embarrassed so I had to document it.
We have had a few days of pretty good weather so we have been trying to take lots of walks. Especially on sundays when we can be on our couch for many hours :)
To make some side money we have been dog watching. Aaron got stuck watching the first dog by himself ;) which was hilarious and he did a great job! The black pup, Coors, is our new best friend.
While I was gone Aaron perfected his bread making with this Facassia bread.
Aaron had his white coat ceremony so his parents came to visit. It was so fun to show them around!
Aaron's white coat ceremony was amazing!
We took Aaron's parents up to DC for their first time. It was amazing!
Aaron showed his parents around his school! We also took them to Williamsburg, showed them some of Aaron's mission sites, showed them the river, walked around Belle Isle, went to Hollywood Cemetery, ate some yummy food and had a really good time!
February was a great/quick month!
