May 2020
May was a whirlwind. We are still in the middle of coronavirus so Aaron was out of school and my work was still at home. We decided at the end of the month to take a trip to visit family since we both could work/do school from anywhere. There will be a separate post all about the trip.
We got in a pretty good rotouine of waking up at 5:30 doing yoga/stretching, I would practice piano and Aaron would read and then we would workout. Then we would start our day working or studying. We would take a lunch break and go on a walk and then at the end of the day go on a ride, door dash, instacart, watch a show, chill, etc. Quite the month :) It was pretty rainy, windy, etc so we had a lot of interesting weather times but it was a good month! We are lucky to have school be able to be virtual and my job already be remote.
Mike was planning on coming to visit us but that got cancelled because of Coronavirus and originally during Aaron's spring break we were going to go to Europe. So May didn't quite go how we had planned but it was still great!
We kicked off May with doing our 50 mile bike ride. We had been training for a while so it was really fun to accomplish that goal!
After the ride we went on a walk around Jamestown.
Check out my name tag - like I said, lots of instacarting
We continued our new tradition of grabbing take out and eating it at a park.
Lots of disc golfing this month too.
Berries on our (rainy) walk! The best time of the year!
A wednesday classic workout for us - running across the bridge and working out at Brown's Island.
Our garden has had some rough rough times but we are trying to help it survive.
Addy & Shellyne sent the whole fam these nice sweatsuits.
Lucky to have the river closeby for our walks!
Aaron finished his D2 Classes! We got giant pizza to celebrate and it was delicious!
Another day, another disc golf course :)
Sunday 6 mile walk/hike around the trails by our house!
Us trying to get a tan since the pool is closed due to Corona.
We also kept up our new tradition of volunteering every week at a homeless shelter and then getting some yummy french bakery food afterward.
You can't tell but there is an eagle out there :) One if my favorite parts of living here is spotting those.
Sunday afternoon bike ride!
More rainy walks :)
Aaron was growing his beard out all quarantine and decided to cut it before the road trip. This was the last of its glory.
He had too much fun shaving it off.
Wayyyy too much fun.
And then cried when he had a baby face again ;)
