June 2020

The first part of our month was our COVID trip. When we made it back, Aaron started school again!

When Aaron is not at school, we have had some fun times with him being home with me working. So here is my work view at some point during most days :)

Or this :)

When we got back our garden was WILD. Everything was so overgrown and so many weeds to remove so we could even find the things we planted. And someone stole one of our planter boxes - community garden problems...

It has been nice for me to be back to my lunch walks around the river!

It rained a ton for the first week or so we were back which makes the river super brown but look at the cute turtles!

Morning runs for each of us!

We are trying to go to the beach more so we went two times in June! The first weekend we went to Virginia Beach by ourselves and swam/explored the shops.

The second beach trip we invited our friends to Sandbridge beach. We got there early and by the time our friends got there it was super busy and no one could find parking so we ended up just being there by our selves and our friends all went to different places haha struggles. We have learned we aren't meant to have friends ;)

On our way back from VA beach, we got Mama J's. It is a southern food place we have been wanting to go to for forever. It was incredible!

Walks around Hollywood cemetery.

We went to a park for dinner one night to get out of the house! We played disc golf and enjoyed our meal in the shade.

They randomly have goats out on our walk these days. They apparently help to eat invasive species. So we love seeing them on our daily walk. So cute.

They move them to a new area every day so it's fun to see where we will find them.

Bike ride around town and taking in the view on our way back.

Run to the river for me! I found a new trail and it was so pretty!

We have been working hard to get our garden back in action and it is slowly growing. We have gotten a few squashes and cucumbers and peas!

Some yummy fruit meals

Sunset from our apartment. We also saw an intense lightening storm from our bed last week which was so amazing!

Black Lives Matter march. We had a really powerful experience attending this event!

One Sunday we rode our bikes to Bird Park and took a nap and played games and it was so nice!

June was such a great month! Still a bit of a weird schedule with Corona but we were able to be outside a lot and do a lot of adventures so we are so lucky!
