April 2021

We kicked off April with a trip to NYC with Addy and Cody! It was a little chilly but super fun! We explored Central Park,

Walked the Brooklyn Bridge.

Ate lots of yummy food and treats! We found the best ice cream ever there.

Grand Central Station!

Times Square!

We had a ton of fun walking 20 miles a day and seeing all the sites we could by foot! It was super fun to go on a trip together!

We made mailers and sent them out to dentists in Tucson to see if we could find a good practice opportunity.

Enjoyed our last few days in our Perry Place apartments! We rarely open up the blinds all the way up but it is so pretty when we do!

April was also a lot of triathlon training! We went up to Lake Anna (where the triathlon would be) several times to practice.

Aaron showing off after his run in the fancy shower.

Aaron's Trisuit!

Practicing using his bucket to change.

After a nice long and sunny spring run!

Practicing the swim in the lake! I kayaked next to him to try to help but I am not sure I was too helpful :/

But at least I got some nice shots! The lake had tons of pollen covering it - spring in VA :)

Practice rides outside since it finally warmed up!

Rides are much sweatier inside :)

Me trying to keep up!

Aaron gave another presentation for Shared Practices to his school virtually!

Enjoying Chicken Fiesta at Chimborazo Park with a view of the city!

Spring at Chimborazo park!

Cutie baby turtle that I saw on a run. I moved him to the side of the trail so he didn't get run over. This is the first year I have seen baby turtles on the trail and I saw 3! I kept running until 36 weeks of pregnancy and was stoked to make it that far! Even if it was just running a very slow mile.

We did an after school adventure to Hollywood Cemetery to enjoy the nice weather and view!

I had a DR appointment so I met Aaron at school and we had lunch together before he walked back to a patient appointment and I walked to my DR appointment.

We sold a lot of our stuff before moving out of Perry Place and ended up without our table for a few weeks so this is where we ate.

My mom sent us some yummy treats for our family game night.

We moved to the Terraces at the end of the month wrapping up 3 years at Perry Place. It was nice to move somewhere so close because we could walk a lot of our stuff over. I wasn't as helpful as normal so Aaron was incredible doing all the big lifting without me.

Addy and Cody were also so nice to come down and help us with getting all our big furniture and other stuff we hadn't grabbed yet. We showed them our gym and tested out the peleton.

Our last pictures outside of Perry Place! We loved the location of our apartment but it was basically a studio which wasn't going to work with the baby. It also had so much mold that we didn't want to expose the baby to. And the management was a complete nightmare to deal with so we were happy to move to a new place after 3 years of that.

The pool at our new place is open year round so I got to lay out on a warm day!

Love the view from our new place!
